Reopening & Your Pub
After months of enforced closure the pubs trade is chomping at the bit to get going.
PAS is here to help by putting all the key information under one resource directory, it is likely that for many businesses the recovery will be “W” shaped, the indicators are there will be the middle spike during the reopening phase (July – to end of summer) which will drop off and a longer slower recover will follow. We are due to put up a blog containing all the pub company forecasts in early July so be sure to check our news pages. The current comments from board level executives echo our thoughts and predict a slow recovery as consumer confidence returns.
Official Government guidance and statutory notices are also being assessed as they are published, the legislation has not yet caught up with the guidance when it does we will be able to give the best possible opinion of what it means for your business. The up to date advice for pubs is to be putting in place procedures that follow the guidance as closely as possible and to have a copy of all your processes to hand should authorities visit your premises and check compliance.
